Placement Agreement

You agree to pay €47:00 per week during your stay. €10 will set put aside each week and returned to you at the end of your placement subject to the flat and its contents being left in good condition. When you leave you will thoroughly clean all equipment, including fridge, microwave and cooker and all floor coverings. Fair wear and tear are expected. However, if you damage furniture, you are responsible for its replacement.
Not to damage the property in the flat or to make alterations or redecorate the flat.
Not to leave your flat for more that two consecutive days and to properly secure all locks if leaving unattended.
To keep the interior of the flat and its contents in good clean condition, and to allow weekly inspection of the property as part of your placement.
Not keep any animals or birds or any living creature in the flat.
Not to use the flat for illegal or immoral purpose.
To notify the maintenance person or support worker promptly of any disrepair, damage, or defect in the flat, or any event which causes damage to the property. Failure to do so may make you liable for any subsequent damage.
Not to glue, stick or otherwise fix whatsoever, to the interior walls, door, windows floors, or other surfaces of the flat without the CEO’s permission.
To take all reasonable precautions to prevent fire and to attend fire safety talks.
To keep the hall, passages, laundry, staircase, and steps leading into and out of the property free from obstruction.
Not to bring into the building any portable heaters fired by liquid or bottled gas.
Not to hang washing from the windows or in the communal areas.
Not to smoke or use drugs in the property.
Not to allow overnight guests stay in the premises.
To dispose of waste using the Carr’s waste management system. Rubbish is not to be left inside or outside the property. Charges apply for incorrect disposal.
You are responsible for your visitors.
You take full responsibility for your your child and will provide adequate supervision and safekeeping both inside and outside the building at all times.
To keep the shared bathroom hygienically clean at all times.
You will have use to designated communal areas and facilities and must leave them clean and tidy after use.
You are responsible for the payment of all electricity bills metered to their flat.
You are responsible for the keys to your flat. If you lose them, you have to replace them yourself.
Carr’s reserve the right to immediately end your placement in the following circumstances:

The misuse of drugs/alcohol either inside or outside the premises
The sale of drugs in or around the premises
Physical assault of an person on the premises
Smoking in the premises
Overnight guest on the premises
Absence for periods of more than one week without prior consent.
